Utdannelse fra Ealing School of Art London, Kunst-og håndverksskolen Oslo og Statens kunstakademi Oslo. Utstillingsaktiv siden 1970 både separat og kollektivt, nasjonalt og internasjonalt. Deltatt i større landart prosjekter i Norge og utlandet siden 1989. Arrangør og deltagende kunstner sammen med Finn Aage Andersen og Knut Wold i ART-prosjektene på Hedemarken i perioden 1989–1997. Hun har mottatt en rekke stipendier og GMI fra 1996. Debuterte på høstutstillingen i 1987 og siden deltatt 9 ganger. Deltatt flere ganger på Østlandsutstillingen og UKS vårutstillinger. Innkjøpt av Oslo kommunes kulturutvalg, Norsk kulturråd, Nordenfjeldske Kunstindustrimuseum, private, kommunale og fylkeskommunale instanser. Arkitektur og miljø, hjem og identitet er sentrale tema i arbeidene. En kontinuerlig eksperimentering med ulike materialer som akryl, tegning, grafikk, tre, papp og rest/funnet materiale. Med en undrende og fabulerende tilnærming hentes inspirasjon fra dagliglivet og uttrykker ulike aspekter ved samfunnet. Minner, steder, inntrykk, farger og former gir føringer til fortellinger om hendelser, kunstnerens egen og andres historie. Arbeidene varierer i form og størrelse, alt fra collage og mindre objekter/ moduler på vegg til større installasjoner og skulpturer i utstillingsrom og i landskap.
